I am trying to have most of the BSN classes opened or at least willing to be opened in my first semester, so that I can work within them... not sure if they will go for this but... I have already started working through these already;

Themes in US and World History GKE1

Applications in US and World History GKT1

Language and Communication Presentation LUT1

Literature, Arts, & the Humanities IWC1

Literature, Arts & the Humanities: Analysis & Interpretation IWT1

I have a touch of ADD so I get bored with one topic too easily and unless I can work within another, I tend to procrastinate.

It appears you still have many prerequisite courses that need to be completed. I did not have to take any of the abovementioned courses due to having a decent amount of transfer credit. The only non-nursing coursework I've had to take through has been the biochemistry and statistics. The rest have been strictly nursing courses.

Yes I also have the Biochem and Stats classes and then rest are the core classes... So I was just wondering what all the other Sept 1st starters get to start with?

The history classes are pretty easy. It is best to take GKE1 before GKT1. GKE walks you through each task, as you pick your themes from a provided list. For GKT you pick your own themes, so it helps having the background of GKT first. I wrote all the papers for both classes in less than a week. IWC & IWT it is good to watch the webinars and take notes. You can also print out the key notes at the end of each section, which is basically what I studied. Those print outs were also very helpful when doing the analysis of the various works picked for IWT power point. I did not take the other course you mentioned. The humanities and history classes were not that hard, but I spent literally months procrastinating. I would suggest just diving in, and definitely not procrastinating like I did just because I did not like the subject at hand. Good Luck! Also check out the FB groups on social networking sites and the communities. The support in these groups is what has kept me plugging away for the last year!

I am assuming you are working on the general education courses needed to get into the BSN program?

Are you taking these with Straighterline or with ? WGU doesn't have the general education classes unless they changed something I don't know about.

Those of us in 's RN-to-BSN completion program can take the general education courses through WGU if we're deficient in any of their requirements.

WOW! OK! I wish they offered them for the Pre-Licensure BSN. It would help out alot verses trying to find a place to take the classes that are in a good schedule. That is cool that they will do that for you.
