Online pre-licensure BSN program

I would also like to know this information. I am a little wary of applying because I have heard mixed reviews BUT I'm still doing research in the hopes of enrolling in 2018.

I'm in Dallas. I started January 2015. We will be done in June. I recommend it over UTA because they care more about work experience, pre-reqs completed(not just sciences), they do an interview to select for placement. UTA denied me because of science gpa. You have to be flexible. Labs are every 3 months or so, on 2-3 consecutive weekends at el Centro. Clinicals are mostly at Lake Pointe in Rowlett. If you have some medical experience you have an advantage. The school work depends, again, on your experience. The classes are hard. It is independent work essentially. You follow the course pacing guide, you keep up with assignments and papers. You take the exam at an ATI testing center. Most classes require an exam and some papers. In total, I think I have written about 12 papers. You can complete the class as fast as you like. Some classes take 8 weeks. I think there were a handful of classes that I did in a week or less. Each term is defined by semesters, so as long as all classes are done in that time frame you are good to go. You can work ahead, pending approval of your student mentor, but ultimately you are still on a 2.5 year program, you cannot finish early, in that sense.
