Yeah, I've actually been to Seattle the city and it's super nice! I've never been to campus but I would honestly love to attend school there! :) Nope haven't heard any news but I assume it will be awhile since the deadline was Dec. 1st.

I live in the area and it is pretty gorgeous. The only downside to living in the PNW is that it rains ~80% of the year and it can really start to wear on me. Honestly, I remember a couple years ago it rained for 30+ days without stopping. It was horrible
Well, that sounds like something we need in California...
personally i prefer overcast a lot more
Well rain is easier to handle than the snow at least! But I guess I can see how it being gloomy for 30 days is pretty depressing.
Has anyone had an update change? I;ve heard back from one school but I want to know what Seattle U says before I make a decision.
I have not heard back. I got accepted to Vanderbilt but I want to see what other colleges say too before I make a decision
I also really want to have a reason to visit Seattle so I hope the school invites me for an interview :)
Dang, congrats on Vanderbilt! At least you know you have a school already! Yeah I am eager to hear back from Seattle too!

Hi all! I stalked past threads and it seems that Seattle sends out interview invites by Valentine's Day and then acceptance decisions by 3/5. It also seems like an interview is mandatory, NOT on a need-be basis. Can someone confirm this?
Thanks :)
As for the other recent post, what do you mean by a need-be basis?
I believe it means that they aren't quite sure if they want to accept you, and need to meet you first to make a decision. Some people got in without interviews; some had interviews. It also seems that phone interviews were available for those who live far from Seattle.

Congrats to those of you that got into programs already!! I am still waiting to hear from the 3 programs I've applied to so far :)
As far as SU is concerned, I think the earliest we will hear a decision is mid-Feb to early March. I want to say the interview dates have been TENTATIVELY scheduled for 2/4 and 2/22 (or something like that), so unfortunately you may have the pay the deposit and wait :/
