(Note to Katie... I believe Nolan was at my orientation speaking from ECC.) (David and Nolan spoke about the SNA during the orientation, and the guy I had in my English class spoke to us before it started....remember?) :chuckle
:smackingf I do remember David and another guy speaking about SNA. So, that was Nolan? Hmm.

    Hi 2nd semester EC/NL students!
I start at EC on the 28th and was curious if you all had any words of advise. I just finished the Keys to Success class and I will be taking my Math Calculations on the 25th. I am so excited - but scared to death at the same time!!

Is there anything you wish you had known before your 1st semester that may have helped you?

My clinical site is Integrated Health with Stahl. Did any of you go there for clinical? How was it?

    Thanks for the info.

Yes, it's amazing how much time I can spend reading text books and still not finishing it for a test. It's also amazing how much weight I can gain in the meantime.

    Katie,

I'm sorry but I had to LOL on that one! I'm sure you probably didn't mean to be funny...but your wording was funny.

Isn't it strange how our ideas change with time? I proudly admit I am a geek now

Yeah, but thank goodness I'm mature enough to know when to be a bookworm, young enough to still have *fun*.

    [BANANA]I'm a GEEK and PROUD of it![/BANANA]
[MOUSE]A GEEK gets it done! A NERD doesn't.

I can totally understand just from my A&P II and Micro last semester. My butt is getting as big as the chaise on the end of my sofa. Right now I am feeling overwhelmed because I have so much I need to get done around my house in the next two weeks before school starts.

I've gained so much weight in the last two years (from sitting on my butt studying all the time), I hate to see myself in another two years if I don't learn to balance studying and a good 20-minute daily workout.

When I started going back to school for nursing I was wearing a size 5. I've gone up....we'll just leave it as that. :trout:

Lol! I, too, have felt the spread. My jeans all hang weird, and I do not want to have to get new ones! Alas, I don't think I have a choice...unless I want to get arrested for public indecency!
