Hi everyone - I am new here but am starting at DNI in the night program in August. I saw some old feedback, and was wondering if anyone has some recent feedback?

No not yet i plan on starting Dec 1st night classes. I took the NET this month and passed so now i just need to get my down payment ready.

They told me they do a payment plan for the $2800 not covered by loans if you put $437 down.......they also told me if I didn't have it I could get a private loan for that amount.

Yes see this is what I was looking for at Concorde I had the $500 to started in Aug but I still needed $2000 that wasn't cover by loans or Pell grant. They wanted $2000 before school started in Aug so if they will let me pay monthly until school is finished then that will work you know.

hey! what type of drug test does the school do?

I am on my 3rd week, had my 1st anatomy test last night.......wow! It was tough! I like the school alot though, I am learning SOOO much, but I will tell you, it's not easy!

The drug test is the swab in the mouth one. I never had one like that before, they make you scrape the inside of your mouth with a toothbrush looking thing. Weird but whatever.

Well Im for one am very happy with the way DNI is helping me getting ready. Thankfully my Post 9/11 G.I. Bill will pay for everything! And I also get the Pell Grant!!!! Everything is working out perfectly, and pretty soon I will be starting class in Nov. 2, 2009!!!!

I got my CPR qualifications in the Navy, as well as my Immunizations up to date before I was discharged.... Man Im pumped up!!!!

Classes are going great, but there was a fight....yes a fight in the parking lot yesterday! Required 4 police cars and an ambulance. It was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Last I checked this was supposed to be a college with adults.....good grief.

LOL....tx starr how did you prepare for the pre test and the NET test?

I really didn't need to prepare because at the time I had just finished 2 semesters of community college, which included math and english comp. The NET was pretty easy, the math only had like 2 or 3 algebra questions. The rest is basic math, and you need to know your decimals/fraction conversions, add/subtract fractions/long division etc.

The reading was harder for me than the math, they had stories for you to read and then they asked you questions like what was the main idea. It's all multiple choice, and some seemed like trick questions to me so be careful on that part.
