Deadline is only a few weeks away - roll call! I was accepted for this semester but I have to repeat a prereq and reapply. >:-/ Spent this break licking my wounds and getting ready to tackle this term!

Thanks to u all, I just got the email. I got in. THanks God!

I still haven't heard anything...so nervous!

The first initial of my last name is L. And I was about to say that is pretty presumptuous to assume I'm a lady haha. Well congrats to those that got in as well! How many males are representing this class?

I already got patho out of the way. Thank God!!!:sarcastic:

Got my acceptance letter earlier today! Such a relief! :) I look forward to meeting you all!

gerontology is second semester I think. first semester offers you the easiest opportunity to take the nursing elective. there are 3 to choose from - 2 online (cant remember what they're called) and end of life care (which is what I will be taking). i'm taking professionalism this semester.

Congratulations to everyone who made it! So stoked! Somehow that 8:00 orientation doesn't seem so bad in August vs January

This will help solve any dilemma of which classes are to be taken. Middle Tennessee State University | Middle Tennessee State University

so, now guys. for those who had picked their paperwork. What type of things I need to do? I mean, I have read the information of the check list, but seems not got all of them. Any idea?

Also, can a nurse be part time?

You were accepted into the program last semester, Right! if so, how is nursing classes so far with u, I mean what advice u have for new students.

Once you go in and get your papers the secretary will explain everything you need to do (lots of stuff). The classes first semester are what Dan said: Professionalism, Patho, Health and Geron and Health Asses with Lab. If you've already taken some of these courses then you will have or should have an EASY first semester.

notes - get 2nd Edition Patho if you are taking that next semester - same exact book as 3rd.

And yes, nurses can work Part-time and PRN.
