Motlow fall 2013

U.S.A. Tennessee

Hey everyone! So I have applied for the fall 2013 semester and was hoping to get in contact with some other hopefuls.... I'm sure we are all feeling the anxiety as the application deadline nears!! I was wondering if anyone would share their gpa and HESI scores... My gpa is only a 3.2 and I got a 92 on my HESI for MTSU and take my test for motlow next month... I look forward to hearing from everyone and good luck!!!

Just and FYI, one of the current students told me ID pics will be taken at orientation so look good ;) lol

I feel like it's Christmas Eve and I'm an 8 year old child who can't fall asleep.

Hey! First I just wanted to say congratulations for making it in..your ride has officially begun..lol...I just graduated from Motlow in May and I will be sitting for my boards on Sunday..the first semester can get really expensive and I just wanted to let you guys know that I will be selling some of my books:) some may be older edition but you can go back as far as two editions so just let me know if you would like to look at them..I am from McMinnville :)

do motlow take into account past transcripts for nursing admissions? i have a lot of repeats and low grades from my past but i plan on going back to school in 2 years now that im a cna. i would love to have a fresh start and only have them look at my current grades i earn at motlow

You would have to check w/ Allison in the nursing dept. Motlow looks at overall GPA (a 4.0 is worth 300 points) and HESI score (a 100% would be worth 500 points) only for nursing students. Being a CNA would help you very much the 1st semester!

They look at all past grades... I was afraid that it would be a problem for me when I applied as well but it all worked out... I had a 3.2 overall and made a 93 on my HESI... The HESI is weighted more so it really helped me... Good luck!!

so i should just wait four years and then let my credits expire then go back to school? i have alot of b's, c's, d's, and f's on my transcript

Your credits will never expire. You can still retake classes and bring up your gpa, no need to wait. Motlow is awesome, but the nursing program is very tough. Have to have determination and work hard. It's totally doable :)

Everything she just said ^ lol

Motlow's policy is that A&P classes must be taken within 5 years, or you will have to retake them.
