Those of you that took the ATI practice assessments, how did your actual TEAS scores compare? I am scoring 78-81% on he practice assessments was just wondering how this would compare to the real thing. I take the paper and pencil version Friday!

I scored 68-70 on the practices and 82 on the real thing. I found the real exam to be MUCH easier than the online practices.

I was scoring low on the practice exams....like high 60's, low 70's. I got an 84 on the actual TEAS. I think the science part was much harder on the actual test and the other three parts were easier on the actual exam.

I was scoring around 78 on the practice and that is what I got on the real thing. I found the practice tests were very close to the real thing. The science was very hard. I found the math to be easy. The reading and language were so so. Some of it was very confusing to me but I did all right on those also.

Did you pay $42 for one practice test on ATI website?

I think I paid around $100 for the ATI study manual and both the practice tests

I did purchase the study package from ATI. I scored 92.7% on the pencli/paper version!!!!

Congratulations on passing the teas. Did you only study from the ATI manual or did you use other books to help you? What areas did you study for the science portion?

I only used the ATI manual and both online practice tests. However, I am a non-traditional student and already have a bachelor degree in Chemistry and have been working in research for 10 years. The most difficult portion for me was going back and relearning the math (fractions and algebra). The science was basic biology and chemistry. The ATI manual was sufficient for review.

The ATI practice tests are considerably more difficult than the actual test.

Yes, the practice is definitely tough! I scored 72% and 72% on the practice, studied my butt off and then got a 91.3% on the actual exam! The key is to study, study the questions you miss! It makes the actual exam much easier.

Thanks for the input guys....I take mine on Monday! YEEEEKERS. I scored in the 80's on both of the practice tests in the book. Then took the online assessment A last night and got 69.3%. I was scratching my head on the science for SURE and that is what brought my grade down. I certainly hope all the posts I have been reading about the online tests being a little bit more difficult than the real thing will also be my experience. Some of those science questions I had to "wing it" and just guess and move on. I like how when you are done, you get a print out of the items missed so you can view the inconsistencies and the consistencies in what you are missing. So tonight, I will go back and study the missed items in detail and then attempt assessment B. Good luck to all of you aspiring nurses!
