Nursing Students TEAS

Published

Since ATI provides no student assistance to interpret scores, let's help each other! If enough of us enter our complete TEAS scores, we'll be able to compare notes to see how we rank in different programs, what to aim for if your school requires a Program percentile rank rather than a series of scores, etc. There is another thread where people are sharing their scores, but it looks like most people are just sharing their Adjusted Individual Total Score or whatever applies to their particular school. By sharing all the info, we can help each other better.

Please copy the scores below and then change them to your own, in your post! thanks! Please make sure to check your Program Type! It's right under the name of the school where you took it, on your score sheet.

I'm hoping to get into an ABSN program.

I haven't seen the macgraw hill test. The real test was just like the ATI test with the exception of a few differences. The ATI test wasn't timed, so if you went over the time limit, you could still answer the questions. Also, on the ATI test, you can't skip over a question, and answer it later(or atleast i couldn't figure out how to).

I used the McGraw-Hill practice test book and also took one online practice test from ATI. I found both helpful, but the ATI practice test was more similar to the real thing.

Wow you did great...I am studying the two books the macgraw hill and ATI, and I want to buy the online practice test, but don not if it's neccessary. The test cost like 45 and I don't have money right now. However, in the online practice test are you allow to take it two times? Are the two times the same questions? Please help, thank you.

Used the McGraw Hill (5 practice test), KhanAcademy, and Barrons study guide. Math and Science are low b/c the last time I took a math class was 7 years ago. I was shocked to find that Reading was my highest, though. God totally blessed me with these scores. Now all I have to wait for is the acceptance letter...hehe :p

Hello, what is the difference between form A and B in the online practice test. Don't know which one will be better?

Hello,

I was wondering of anyone could help me out. I took my TEAS yesterday with the intention of applying to a BSN program. However, when I received my scores today it states program type: ADN. I don't remember ever answering the question which program I intended to apply to so I'm a little confused as to why my individual profile doesn't state program type: bsn.. Also, the school I had my scores sent to is a BSN program.. Anyway if anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate that very much. Thank you!

Hi what state do you live in i took mine two days ago and i studied for 5months and i got a 40% i felt the time they give you was horrible im desperate now to just pay someone to take it im so sad. What are some tips you have?

Wowza...I'd give up all together if I were you!! 5 months and a 40%?? All the info is in the ATI book!!

Hey there ... I honestly don't know the answer to that one. I was wondering the same thing myself when I took the practice test. I was only willing to pay for one of them, and I chose form A. My best guess would be that they are just two different practice tests of TEAS V.

That's mainly for ATI research purposes, so it should not affect your application to your program. It will change the percentile rank by program that you see on your score sheet, but that's really it.

Thank you Jimmy! I called ATI today and spoke a lady who said that I must have accidently checked off ADN instead of BSN but that it's the same test for all programs! Pheww! I was worried! Again, thank you for your response! :)
