St Joseph College of Maine Reviews

Nursing Students NP Students

I have done a few searches, but haven't found many responses (or at least newer) re: St. Joseph's nurse practitioner program. I'm considering it because it seems flexible, reasonable, and like a good opportunity from what I can tell. Please share your experiences!! Is $600/credit reasonable for an online program? I feel it's almost worth it so that I can start sooner rather than later!

Thanks in advance :)

i called the school being nosey and they told me they tried to send out the letters by the 20th of this month but believes it will be by the 25 so yes im going crazy with anticipation. i mad every day i get junk mail lol. so im continuing to pray and keeping my fingers crossed. good luck to everyone else as well.

Thanks!

I have been reading the post.... I wanted to share that I found out today I was accepted to the NP program! I am so excited, and I wish those of you waiting to hear your status the best.... FYI my nursing school GPA was 3.5 and I graduated with my BSN in 2009.

I got my letter yesterday and i was denied acceptance into the FNP program. i kinda knew off hand it would be denied considering the letter was small instead of big. im disappointed but then again its ok. i will consider going into education and maybe do the post master certificate. good luck to everyone else that appiled.

I would apply one more time ... Just because you did not get accepted this time does not mean you were not a strong candidate. Reapply for Jan. 2012 and look at other programs too & look into your alternatives, but REAPPLY.

Haven't gotten my letter yet but I got an email requiring more forms for Fin. Aid. I called my advisor and he confirmed I was accepted! he said the acceptance letters were going out this week- for sure!

I am new to this post, but I have been following it trying to get some info on the school and program. Good Luck to everyone- maybe we can get a small group going to get some feedback from eachother.

I hope you will apply again...I was reading the initial letter and it did state to keep looking at the requirements for reapplication.....the next reapply is for January...I was talking with the Director at South College a few months ago...he told me that the one thing that held people back...did I know what it was, so I told him, no, what is it and he said the essay...the essay was the big factor....beyond the transcripts and the references...it was the essay...that surprised me a lot.....
