Requirements for NP school

Nursing Students NP Students

Hello My Fellow Nurses and Student nurses! I have tremendous doubt and I could use some help.

I did LVN in a Vocational school (not a college). When I see the requirements for NP school I noticed they ask for all the transcripts of the college or universities I attended. Does that mean that I need to send : ADN gpa , BSN gpa only ? Or do include the vocational school?

Also: how do they calculate my GPA ?

Thank you in advance! 😄

Best bet is to check with the school itself as each may have a different requirement regarding multiple transcripts.

They will need the transcripts from all undergraduate work. Plus, depending on the school, there could be a requirement to use the Nursing CAS as part of the process, which will determine your cumulative GPA based on the information you enter from each transcript and grade.

Yes, I'm assuming they only require "college or university". However each school and program is different. Better double check idepently ,right?

With online programs- even this isn't a requirement! They could do multiple terms from a hospital bed if they wanted!

Dang, and I've been working full-time all along. I'd love to be in bed.
