Hi everyone!!!

I wanted to go ahead and make a thread for MUSC's Spring 2015 hopefuls. I know it is a little bit early to start this thread, but I am just so excited. I am looking forward to everyone stats and encouragement for each other. Looking forward to the results!!!

Thanks for the update Jessicnw. I just checked and as of today the total number of application received is 128. 68 in-state and 60 out of state. Finishing up on my essay. My application should be submitted by early next week.

I second that!!! I just took at look....it's at 73 for IN-state, 67 for OUT-of-state for a total of 140! :woot: My guess is that the numbers will increase right before the 2nd deadline. fingers crossed!

Hello everyone!

I am also applying for Spring of 2015. I am currently racing against the clock to clean up this essay and resume. I know I'm not the only one to find them both tough and time consuming. I restarted my essay four times! :o

I should have my application done and submitted on Monday so my references can complete their forms! Thankfully they've informed me that two weeks is more than enough time. Hopefully that means they know me so well that they can rave about my great qualities at the drop of a hat! If not, I may be in trouble! ;)

It's nice to meet you all! Like you, I am also surprised there aren't more of us taking part in the thread for our future cohort. I've visited some of the others and they go on forever!

How many applicants were accepted for the early application? I just submitted my application after two weeks of working on my resume and essay. Now let the waiting game begin!!!

They accepted 9 in state and 7 from out of state! There already is 154 applicants!! So nervous, I just wish I could hurry and find out if we made it!

Hi everyone, Im new to this site. I just submitted my application and I am so nervous. My overall gpa is a 3.3.....im not sure about my science gpa. I graduated from SSU in may 2013 with my Biology degree. I live in Savannah,Ga, so the out of state tuition would kill me, then i would have to worry about housing....OMG

I was accepted for Fall 2014 but had to defer my enrollment to Spring 2015 for financial reasons, so hopefully I will be starting with you all in Spring this time around if I can figure out a way :) It is difficult being 22 and trying to finance this education by yourself! I graduated from Winthrop University in May and cant wait to begin school!
