Anyone else get to do Safe Schools?

Who else gets to complete the lovely Safe Schools videos over the summer? We get a swap day for it (get to start work a day later in August), but they are SOOOOO boring! The district assigns videos to us based on our position, and for some reason, I get listed as a teacher most years. I just finished one on students with behaviors that disrupt classrooms...

The videos are the same every year; you have to watch them, then take a quiz. I am working on my last one so I don't have any other school-related obligations until I go back to work on August 9th.

i got out of that, but i'd take that over a lot of the bureaucratic crap we have here

We use it, I too was added as a "teacher" so most of things did not apply. I asked that we add some health related ones this year!

That is awesome that you can start a day later though!

We do...I had about 5 hours of videos, but we get a day paid for them too.
