RIH/Hasbro Critical Care Internships:

U.S.A. Rhode Island

Published

I was just wondering if anyone has any information about the Critical Care Internships offered for new grads at Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children's?

First priority is given to students who work there, do any external applicants ever get accepted?

Do they really wait until May to make decisions?

Anyone take part?

Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Great, thank you! While I would love the critical care internship, it is actually nice to see that they have employee loyalty. Has anyone heard anything at all yet? I have not received anything verifying receipt of my application at all.

I applied also and have no received any info yet? Anyone else heard anything?

If you applied for the Critical Care Internship then you won't hear anything back until the first or second week of May (in terms of an interview) and probably won't hear about getting a job until the end of May or beginning of June (so I have been told).

!Chris :specs:

On the website it people will hear back by the last week in May. Does that mean they are taking longer because there have more applications this year?

sorry, i meant last week in April.

Thanks for the update, Chris!

I just received an email acknowledging receipt of my application and they will be in contact if I'm selected for an interview.

Fingers crossed!

I did too! Let's hope we hear something good soon :)

Anyone hear anything yet?

Not Yet

Me neither :(

I heard from someone who applied to the program in the last cycle. She said the hospital didn't follow the time line posted on the website. She was called for an interview 2-3 weeks after when she thought they would.

If this is true for this cycle, interviews may not happen until mid to late May.
