College of the Mainland. Spring 2018 ADN

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone,

I just submitted my application last

week for the Spring 2018 ADN program at college of the mainland. I'm so nervous, my overall point is 840. I can't wait to get accepted, I just pray they don't make mistakes. If you are also applying please comment, you can comment about your points too.

Those in the nursing program already, please how is the program like? I'm so nervous. I heard the lowest they accepted for last semester was 760, I hope it is lower this time around. I called the school and I was told that they have a lot of applicants.

Where can I find cheap apartment close to the school. I wanna start searching for an apartment in texas city.

Yes your score was really good. And for com it was my first attempt but I also applied to ut health last semester. Was denied but then it opened my eyes to this program

really? why were you denied?

@maryebele29 Not sure. My hesi score was like an 88. 3.6 gpa but it is veryyy competitive so who knows. I'm just glad I can get started

Im not exactly sure the score but it was around the 800-820.

yeah true, a stepping stone. You can bridge to MSN or BSN after this.

can those who got accepted say their scores, so we can figure out the cut off or the lowest score they accepted. I'm just curious.

I was accepted and my score was a 820

great score

Ladies I'm super late joining because unfortunately my home was flooded and I've been dealing with all of that but I too was accepted into the program. I'm so thankful and ready to start. I applied last semester at San Jac but was denied because they take into account a overall GPA so that dropped my ranking. Also applied last semester at Alvin was waitlisted never called. So finally hearing a yes is exciting. Looking forward to meeting everyone soon. My score was 820 GPA 3.65.

sorry about your houseí ½í¸Š so happy for you. 820 is an awesome score, what did you score in your TSI (reading portion)? do you stay in Texas city? Houston?

I'm not sure my TSI score since I took it few months ago. I just moved outside of Texas City a month ago so I'm new to area.

Hi ladies! I have been stalking this board to see when acceptance info was sent out but haven't participated in here. I was accepted for Spring 2018 and I am so excited! Just wanted to congratulate all of you who were also accepted and I am looking forward to meeting you all :) I also want to say don't give up to those who may have not been accepted. It has taken me a year of applying to different schools to get accepted but it is so worth it. Congrats everyone!
