College of the Mainland. Spring 2018 ADN

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone,

I just submitted my application last

week for the Spring 2018 ADN program at college of the mainland. I'm so nervous, my overall point is 840. I can't wait to get accepted, I just pray they don't make mistakes. If you are also applying please comment, you can comment about your points too.

Those in the nursing program already, please how is the program like? I'm so nervous. I heard the lowest they accepted for last semester was 760, I hope it is lower this time around. I called the school and I was told that they have a lot of applicants.

Where can I find cheap apartment close to the school. I wanna start searching for an apartment in texas city.

Congrats! I'm sorry you were affected by the flood. My heart goes out to you!

Hi ladies! I have been stalking this board to see when acceptance info was sent out but haven't participated in here. I was accepted for Spring 2018 and I am so excited! Just wanted to congratulate all of you who were also accepted and I am looking forward to meeting you all :) I also want to say don't give up to those who may have not been accepted. It has taken me a year of applying to different schools to get accepted but it is so worth it. Congrats everyone!

Congratulations girl.Hope to see you tooí ½í¸Š

Hi everyone!! :)

autumn_3 and I have been following this forum and we're also accepted into the 2018 COM ADN Program! :) congrats to all who did.

We decided to make a closed Facebook group for all who were accepted, mainly to cheer each other on for the next two years. If you have a Facebook please search 'ADN Spring 2018 COM Nursing Program' to be added to the group í ½í¸€

Look forward to having a place to chat and get to know everyone! :)

Also, good luck to everyone applying. I don't remember my score when i applied, I think it was in the 700's but it if makes anyone with a low score feel better, I personally got in as an alternate. So I had to go through the entire summer, completing the tasks just like everyone that was accepted (drug test, blue card, all that) without actually knowing if i'll be in the program or not.

Hey I just recently found out I was just accepted as an alternate what do I have to look forward to?

Hey I just recently found out I was just accepted as an alternate what do I have to look forward to?

Basically, they are going to have you go through the motions just as if you were fully accepted. Purchasing uniforms, getting immunizations, drug test, all that. Then when you go to the orientation you will find out after if you were fully accepted or not. They accept a total of 60 so when you go to the orientation you can physically count yourself how many people are in there. If you count 63 then you know 3 ppl there are not going to be getting in, but for one reason or another not everyone shows up. Good Luck!!
