What to do if I don't get in

As I currently stand...I'm probably not getting into the BSN program at MSU. I'm kind of stuck on what to do if I don't get in. Should I try again next semester? Switch to a different school/major? What should I do?

I am stating what my school said to me "you should not put all your eggs into one basket" with that being said, I would apply to other schools and only after you exhausted all those options should you consider changer majors.

I agree with the PP- apply to more than one school, and apply again next semester. Are you really that quick to give up on your career goals?

If you don't think you will be getting in because of a low high school GPA, then you could always do your prereqs at a community college, you would have to do really well and get an almost 4.0 GPA, and then transfer to your dream school once you're done with prereqs. A lot of people do this, and it's also one of the cheapest options. If you don't want to do this, then you can always lower your standards a bit and try to apply to more schools. I know this may not have been your original plan, but life almost never goes the way you plan/expect. Good luck, and I hope you figure something out!
