TEAS grades ---Question----

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

hi everyone,

i just took the TEAS for the first time today. i didnt have a lot of time to study the free online questions. I dont know if i did any good in the test because I got a "B". I dont know if you have to get a "A" to be considered.

Here are what i got on my score:

Adjusted Individual Total Score: 87.1%

Mean - National 72.8%

Mean - Program 77.4%

Percentile Rank - National: 95

Percentile Rank - Program: 90

Reading-95%

Math-86.7%

Science-83.3%

English-85.5%

If anyone is willing to tell me what you got to see if my grade is good enough, it would be helpful.

While it looks really good to me, only your school will be able to tell you if it's good enough to get in. Every program is different and some are much more competitive than others. Your in the 95th percentile in the nation which means you did as well as, or better than, 95% of the people who took it! Your program percentile is a bit lower though at 90% so your program must be pretty competitive. Do you know how many people apply vs how many are accepted? Knowing these numbers will give you a little better idea as to what your odds are. Also, what is your GPA for the specified prerequisites? If you don't have a solid GPA to back up your high TEAS score, it could hurt you. Either way though, it's a very good score..

That's a very good score ;)...especially for the first time.

I got a 96.5 but I don't remember the score break-down. 87.1 composite is really good.

That is a very good score, it means you did better than 90% of the people taking the test nation wide. Your science score is also impressive. Good job!

thanks guys, i just wanted to know if it was okay. i just found a thread that people that are interested in the same school as I am are making low to mid 80's. So i'm right in the mix. Thanks for all the information everyone.

Wow, another general test, except this one is $160 in basic help guides. What a rip off. I'll still look on Amazon to see if they have ATI books. I got 99th national percentile in NET, but this looks harder with Science averaged in: too broad of a subject to map down. The HESSI book really looks good as well. They are similar to ATI, except HESSI schools seem to be ranked a little better. Oh well $300 for aids and 3 weeks of a few hours per day, here we come :yawn:
