Super excited pre-nursing student!!!! Help me take out my energy on some reading

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I just spend 4 years finishing up a BA in Anthropology and am a month away from starting my pre-reqs.... and I have SO. MUCH. ENERGY. I've been reading everything I can get my hands on. I'm on this board way too much already. A used bookstore nearby closed down, and I stocked up on an illustrated medical dictionary, biology dictionary, nursing care plan textbook, etc. Where do I turn next? I'm a big reader and would love to prepare in any way possible. I'm taking Microbiology (just the lecture), Gen Psych, Biology, Math Modeling, and Health and Human Development next semester. I have an interview lined up for a volunteer position at Grady Hospital.... I think that's it, hah! What else can I do? Should I buy school supplies and start organizing????

Seriously, this is how much energy and excitement I have right now. I live with my boyfriend, and he's pretty much over hearing about my nursing degree as is... Anyone else feeling like this?

i'm super excited myself! even though i dont apply until jan ive already started buying my stethoscopes, light pens, lab coats secondhand watch, bandage scissors etc! The three schools Im applying to all have these things under their supplies so i started now lol i even have a disposable stethoscope hanging from my rearview!

if i had known then what I know now....... I wouldn't have done ANYTHING. lol. I know that's not what you want to hear but once you start, you'll never stop. Good luck!
