Question regarding class curves

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I realized a lot of my classes have been curved and I'm kind of upset because I've kind of just been slacking because of it. I'm scared I'm not preparing for NS.

Are your classes ever curved?

Very few of my classes ever graded on a curve. I am enrolled in a pharmacology class currently. The instructor is new and has very high expectations of her students. She grades on a curve, but, unfortunately for the other students, I and one other student tend to 'set the curve', which means there is never much of a curve. I was actually approached by classmates and asked to 'throw' a few questions on the midterm so that they might be able to pass:uhoh3:. I refused and offered to allow them to come to my study session. The one that didn't come is no longer enrolled in pharm...

Um, no...thats actually not how it works...at least not with me...I study very hard for my grades...not studying puts you at a disadvantage, curve or not

Before I came to USA I never heard of this. I thought it's a joke the first time I heard about it. So, basically all you have to do before test is to talk to each other and decide not to study and you all will pass?
