I was wondering if anyone had any tips of how to do good in psychology? I am taking psy right now and its alot of reading for each test. I been out of school for awhile and i am trying to get soon good study and reading tips because i am trying to fine what works for me. I been reading and highlighting and taking notes but it seems to be taking forever i read 8 pages in about 2 hours and ended up hightlighting and writing almost everything in my book.

So if anyone has any tips it would be really helpfully!

Thank you!:)

Too late for you, but a student at my school is taking Human Growth & Development and Psychology this semester and she said a lot of the same things are covered in both classes. So I am going to try to take them together, too.

Hope someone has some good advice for you! I think the hardest part is everything new seems so foreign at first. The more familiar I can become with a new subject, the more comfortable I am. It takes a lot of repetition, though.

A few tips...write down all the vocab words and definitions. Before you begin a chapter or section go the review questions at the end and read over them. Have them in your head as you are reading through the chapter. This helps you to focus on the main points and what is important.

Thanks for the tips!
