NAR vs. NAC

How long does NAR status stays?

What is NAR? What is NAC? I am not familiar with these terms. Is this related to nursing?

NAR= Nursing Assistant- Registered

NAC= Nursing Assistant- Certified

Specializes in mental health / psychiatic nursing.

In Washington State your NAR status lasts 120 days or until you pass your NAC exam and convert to NAC status (whichever is shorter). If you go the 120 days with out taking/passing the exam then it expires and you are likely ineligible to work until you complete requirements for NAC status.
