Last Prerequisites Next Semester

Next Semester I will be taking my last 2 prerequisites before I can get into the nursing program. My last 2 prereqs are Microbiology and A&P 2. I want to get the most out of each semester so I was thinking of adding on an additional class and do 3 like I normally do. I could possibly start on the additional classes that I will need for my AA such as foreign language, another Humanities or history. I wanted to know opinions on if I should only do these two classes because of the difficulty level of the classes or if it would be ok to add on a third class such as an elective.

I will have my prereqs finished next semester as well, and will apply to nursing school in May. But I also want all my non nursing classes out of the way, so I'm doing psy 210 next semester and micro over the summer. I was excited because I felt like I could double up on some nursing classes when I start, but they said no you have to follow the schedule. So I will be taking two classes, two semesters in nursing school and the rest of the time one class. My BFF was like remember you will be working full time too and having clinicals, so don't rush it. I think it may be good to just focus on the things you can and enjoy the rest of the time because I have a feeling we will be VERY thankful to only have a few nursing classes at a time.

Yay! I'm taking my last pre-reqs next semester too. I apply in May. At my school we have a 5 unit anatomy class (pre-req for physio) and a 5 unit physiology class separate and then micro. I have already taken micro, am currently in anatomy, and am taking physio next semester. It's a tough decision to make. It's absolutely doable. It's just about how much time you're willing to put into it. I'm taking physiology, math, and a beginner's ASL class next semester and then I'm done. I'll have 62 units in five semesters (counting one summer semester) and I'll hopefully be starting Nursing next fall. I like to take one easy-ish class to get it out of the way since it doesn't usually take that much time. Just pick something really easy like humanities.

I say yes, start on those additional *easier* classes for your AA. Now that I've experienced the science(s), I feel like the non-science courses are completely doable! I am getting closer as well. I need chem and micro, and just a few other non-science pre-reqs, and I will have completed everything I need. Good luck to you!

Thanks for the comments! Still throwing it around in my head as to if I want to add that third one. I am just so anxiously wanting to get these done with.
