Or any other schools in MN? I sent my application in back in December, and they send out acceptance letters mid-april....longest wait ever!I have been accepted into St. Kate's and RCTC, but U of MN is my top choice.

Congrats on being accepted to Rctc and st. Kates! I applied to Anoka Ramsey CC and am also waiting until end of April! Here's to only one month or less or waiting :)

Woohoo!! Congratulations on your two acceptance letters! I just turned in my application for Bethel University, but won't hear back until October since the only have a Spring start date. I hope to be as happy as you, come October! Good luck on hearing back from the UoMN, keep us posted :)

I just got rejected from U of MN via email. I was a little surprised since I have a 4.0 GPA. Kind of makes you wonder who got in!

Congratualtions on getting into St. Kate's and RCTC. I will be starting the BSN program in the fall at the U of MN. It was a really long wait to hear back. If you didn't get in don't give up.

Thanks and congrats to you too! I got into the U of M-Rochester yesterday...,I agree the wait was very long and torturous.

Congrats on getting in!!

Wondering if I can bring this thread back by asking those of you who were accepted to the U of M program (especially the Rochester campus) what your GPA, experience, etc. was when you applied? :)

I will be applying but I don't think I'll get in. I am also applying to Century College and Inver Hills CC, all for spring. I'm currently taking prereqs at Bemidji State and Northwest Tech.

What is your GPA? I know they look at overall GPA and your prerequisite GPA and also volunteer/work experience. I think they look for diverse applicants or those who have experience working with diverse communities who possess leadership qualities. I'm really hoping I will get in!

I'm not sure what mine is, actually when you only count prereqs. I graduated with a previous BS with a 2.99. Last semester I had a 4.0, this semester probably a 3.4 or so. It's kind of hard to say and it really depends on how much they care about the old classes.

Yeah I'm not sure I guess..! But if you are taking prereqs and getting those grades, that's a good thing! Do you have volunteer experience or are certified as a nursing assistant?
