Hey I live in Co. I'm 22 & getting ready to take my pre-req's I want to specialize (sp) in peds. any advice you can pass on would not be taken lightly

I know we all need support trying to actually make it to nursing school, so I suggest we have email or pm buddies. If you need a buddy post here. Post what you will need pushing with, and try to be specific, but before you make a post look to see if someone that has already posted may be just the buddy for you, and contact them.
I'll start:
-I am due to have a baby on Feb. 8th, but I may be induced late this month (when school starts, I will know for sure on Tuesday.)
-So I need someone to push me to go back to school asap
-I also only have classes scheduled for Tues. and Thurs., but I have two math classes that are self paced, and I have to go to the school's math lab to do them. I want to have these clases done by the end of Feb. with an A in both of them. So I need pushing to go to school even when I don't have to to go to the math lab and work all day sometimes, and I need to be pushed to really work hard in those classes at home, so I can finish by my goal date.
Can someone help me???

I am a mother of 3 stay at home. Youngest is almost 20 mths and into everything. Right now I am having some medical problems and I am having a hard time getting through school. I am taking two classes they both are online courses which makes it hard to do b/c I don't have to go into a class room. I am willing to partner up with you. I also am a person who strives to get A's.

i'm taking the last of my available co-req's right now starting tonight. nutrition & a&p 2. this way when i start my actual nursing in the fall i will only have to take the mandatory 3 coreq's left. micro, professional issues & pharmacology.:uhoh21: i wanted to get as much out of the way as possible i have 2 babies...well, they will be 1 & 2 in feb. and i work. i am married. and i have a dog that has ripped his knee and needed surgery 3 months ago and now again because his body is rejecting the stiches on the inside. :crying2: i see that it is tough for most people doing nursing now. i guess maybe that's another way of weeding us out???

we'll stick together and kick it in the butt guys!!! good luck and i would be happy to partner up.:)

Hey all, I would LOVE to have a buddy and am willing to partner up w/anyone! I am 39. Married 21 yr, a USAF wife, in my SR yr at UNLV, Health Ed Major, grad in May. I am applying to BSN school for this fall (accelerated program) and am presently doing my Internship at the American Red Cross. My dream is to one day be a CNM. I have 3 kids living at home; 20, 18 (sons) and 14 (daughter). I have gone through a lot to get here, been in school 5 1/2 yrs, discovered I was LD and ADD w/in this last yr after having to retake classes and failing out of my BSN program 2yrs ago. I would love the support and am willing to give support!
