Hello everyone,

I'm hoping to get into Concordia for Summer 2015! I'm beginning the application process and was hoping I can get advice from current students or how current applicants are prepping! I'm very worried about getting in as it is my first choice...:nailbiting:

I go to CSULB and am on my last semester with a 3.0 GPA, which is bare minimum. I'm interning at a hospital and reaching 240 hours by the end of November. I'm passionate about becoming a nurse, particularly in the area of pediatrics or neonatal nursing! Is there any way I can make myself a more competitive candidate? What would a good Statement of Intent look like? Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi @Jancali....I applied to the program as well....was about to create a thread and i saw yours...did you eventually submit an application? i read what you wrote and assume you are worried about your GPA. However, if you indicated the reasons behind your current GPA in your essay, i dont think it should be an issue. Can't wait to hear from you.

Hey! I got an interview for the 18th! I saw your other post and saw yours is on the 21st. Wondering if there are more than two interview dates. Good luck! Also @jancali I agree with @nkivory... explain it all in the personal statement briefly and you should be good. :)

I got my interview invite for the 21st yesterday. I wonder how many dates there are? Also, the interview time slot is ... 6 HOURS? Do you guys have any idea what that means/how it is set up/what is going on? haha :) I just had an interview at CBU and everyone wore a suit (blazer/button down/blouse/slacks), so thats probably how I'd dress to be safe.

Any ideas on the interview questions and sample writing samples? I have an interview schedule on 2/18. This is my first interview, and I am pretty nervous and excited about it. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
