CNA to RN?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hi. I'm currently in the middle of getting my CNA schooling done, but I'm already looking to the future about becoming an RN.

I have heard that it is possible to do that online, yet I'm not finding anything. Was my source absolutely wrong or is it possible? If so, where do I look?

I've already checked the magic of Google and Bing, which is why I'm asking, because I'm starting to doubt that it is actually possible to do CNA to RN online.

It's not. There are some hybrid programs that have online classes. But there is no cna to rn bridge program.

CNA has nothing to do with nursing school. Therefore, there is

no CNA to RN school. Just search for online RN programs.

You'd be starting from scratch, as far as educational requirements go. There is no way to accomplish CNA to RN online.

You cannot become a nurse online if you are starting from scratch. Nursing requires learning hands on skills and working hundreds of hours in clinical settings. You may be able to do some prerequisites online but the actual nursing part has to be done in person.

Although you might be able to find a hybrid program that blends online coursework with in-person clinical practicum hours, no online nursing programs exist for those who are starting the process without a nursing license.

There isn't any tangible educational value of going from a CNA to RN, unless the school requires a CNA license to apply to their program. You're going to take the same classes as someone who never had their CNA.

You cannot do an RN program fully online. You have to do in person clinicals.
