Accepted into a pre nursing program

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hi, been going back and forth on LPN, Medic, ADN, and BSN. I knew Accelerated program be ideal, but finically and my study habits cramping all that in would be a volcano of doom. I applied back to the college and accepted back as matriculating student. Most of my previous classes were accepted. Have to look have eight sciences to complete, a psychology class, and a statistics class. I could go full time, possibly could be less think it is $5,000 a semester for full time. However, they gave a list of courses at the CC can take that transfer over so going through the CC for pre-req's a lot cheaper. Taking Anatomy 1 and EMT-B class at the college in the fall.

Curious for anyone going through a BSN program now are you working? I signed up for the EMT class at school as I figured could change job's after I complete the course. I see a lot of EMT opening's at night for 36 hour positions.

Appreciate the feedback.

About half my class works, myself included. All of who work are already in the healthcare field and work as CNA, EMTs, LVNs, and Tele Techs.

It can be tough but its definitely doable. Just be prepared to always be tired, lol. Some of my classmates will come straight to class after working night shift and they're doing well in the program! Its all about time management and how bad you want it. Good luck!
