I didn't see a thread, so I started one.

I am planning on applying this fall for the Direct Entry MSN program. Anyone else?

Thanks! Trust me, I completely understand the confusion and frustration. Hopefully you will all get some answers soon! March 21st is still a ways away. And I will certainly keep you posted.

The community colleges around me all have the 3.0 science gpa requirement. It is really frustrating. I do not want to retake a class I have already taken. Maybe that is just what I have to do, suck it up. I feel so very discouraged.

A friend of mine got a C in Physiology and got accepted to Concordia ABSN. There is definitely hope for you.

Congrats on the interview e_marie! Definitely not hating on the new interviewees :) I think all this has just led to a major confusion because even though I haven't received an acknowledgement letter yet, I just feel as if I should expect a rejection letter since they told us that the last interview date would be on February 22nd. The fact that they need to interview some more people makes me think that they didn't find anyone out of the 220 good enough to completely fill the 60 spots which honestly makes me really sad but hey, it happens.

Maybe I'm just becoming more pessimistic as the days go by without hearing from them but not until I hear a confirmation of any sort, I do still hope that I have a chance of getting in or at least being put as an alternate.

Good luck everyone. I hope this is our week for some good news! :yes: I interviewed on the 15th and have not heard back yet so I am very discouraged at the moment. Like most of you, I felt as though my interview went well and find it odd that Western has decided to interview additional applicants. I also wanted to thank beesmama for always taking one for the team and wanted to thank all of you for always updating us and keeping us informed. I hope one day we will be classmates and we can laugh about us meeting on allnurses. I am thankful to be going through this stressful time with you guys and I cant say it enough, but good luck good luck good luck!!!

I was accepted into the ADN/RN-MSN, but do not think I am going to accept. I have not spoken with anyone from the school and did not have an interview, but I was sent an email and paperwork a few days ago. I was accepted into their online program. I just got accepted into Thomas Jefferson University and I will probably go there. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!

I totally agree, it's just the not knowing that's driving me crazy! Every time I think about it my heart starts to beat a little faster. Western, please just put us out of our misery!
