Western Health Sciences - Direct Entry MSN - Fall 2013

I didn't see a thread, so I started one.

I am planning on applying this fall for the Direct Entry MSN program. Anyone else?

I can't wait until we find out something! This whole "another interview day" is really frustrating. I know I'll be calling to inquire (if I'm denied, of course) how I could be qualified for admission into their program as an alternate one year, then denied the next with more than anticipated interview dates. Agh!

Ok. Rant over. Just tired of waiting....

Has anyone received any news yet? I interviewed on Feb 22nd and we were supposed to be notified in 2 weeks.

I know! I can't imagine that that many people turned down a spot that they needed to open up another interview day! Just doesn't make any sense at all. And if they have decided they don't want us - why not send us the rejection letter already?? I want to call again so badly!

I think the info said 2-3 weeks. A few people have been notified (because they told us they were accepted) but nothing after that! And since they told us that there were still acceptances being sent out, we still have hope!

Bees, maybe we should call again! I think they may still be discreet though. But then again any info is more then what we're speculating... I agree though with not having enough strong candidates. I mean, really?! There's NO way they don't!

It'll be funny once we all get in ;) ha!

I think the next round of acceptances will go out on Tuesday the 12th. Just a guess.

Unless they are waiting to finish the add-on interviews first, then we might be waiting for a loooooong time.

The waiting is horrible, I keep having all these dreams about it its driving me nuts. I really hope we won't have to wait until after the add-on interview date that would suck. :eek:

Gosh, I want to, but don't know what to say! haha Since I just called the other day...I wouldn't know what else to ask? When might other acceptances go out? Are they still doing interviews? Act like I haven't had one?

Hello, I am a little late to the game here. I interviewed on Feb 20th, and have heard nothing. I have been reading this forum for awhile now and it is stressing me out!! Another interview date?! When I asked on the 20th she said the last interview was going to be that saturday! I have a question for everyone though. I have been denied from CSULB, CSUS, and CSUC before this round. This round I applied to Western U, CSUSM, CSUSF and CSUB. I have a "C" in anatomy so I am not qualified for many schools because of the 3.0gpa in sciences requirement. It is really frustrating to me because I feel like I am not getting in just because of one C. Most of you probably have way better grades than me but I just feel like I am never going to get in. It has been a 3 year process already and I am so sick of waiting around, I want to be a nurse already! Does anyone know anywhere else I can apply to with my grades?

p.s. Sorry for the rant.
