I am waiting to hear from chemeketa and this is my only option now. I don't remember my points, but I will looked it up and post it here. I was not able to go to an essay portion either. Maybe, I am already out, but I still have some hope.

Kuku, I am planning to apply there next time.

Do you know if they truly assign same amount of points for grades ranging from B- to A? That is what it seemed like from their point worksheet.

Yes, it doesn't matter if you have B or A in your science classes, but they want As in other classes.Do you know when is the next application is due? Is it for winter 2011? They told me they will be changing their application process for 2010.

The application process for 2011.

Specializes in maybe L&D or NICU.

I am waiting for Chemeketa also! Last year I got my letter on the 7th with my finalized scores, so I think it will be here very soon. I still do not see how it takes them so long to do all of this. We applied in Feb. and we still have a month or two to go until we know for sure!

It says our points will be posted on their website by May 14th. On your My Chemeketa their is a link to your nursing scoresheet that will eventually be there. Nothing yet. It says they will give a decision by June 30th. They are last of all nursing schools. I think if you didn't get invited to the essay, you are already out. Also, they have told me if you don't live in their district you will be eliminated at the tie-braker stage.

I was invited for the essay, but I am not in distric student. Thank you for letting me know. Maybe, I will do better planning next year.

Don't know if anyone is still reading this one but I got my acceptance letter today!!! Good luck everyone!

Hey, Kudos!

Congrats! If you don't mind me askin you, what was your score? I know I am in b/c I did not have two classes, but I am so tired of the rgaction letters. I was rejections many times, but I cannot believe that I still have little hope left. Do you know what was the cut off point?

I was thinking to take those two classes so I can apply next year. Now, I am keep looking for mailman so I can get my rejaction letter.

I just read that last year people who had 310 did not get in. It made me sad b/c I was hoping I will have 310 next year, but it looks like I do still don't have any chance.

Do you know how many applicats they had this year?

I had 310, the only way you can get the max score of 315 is to have been one of five alternates the year before. The first five alternates get an extra 5 points on next years application as long as they attend orientation and do all the other stuff the year they were an alternate. I applied in 2008, was alternate 2, my friend was 1. A spot opened for her the first week of class, but that was it. So last year I was automatically accepted because I had the 5 extra points, but had major family issues that were not compatible with nursing school. I ended up dropping before term even started and had to try again this year. With a 310 it basically goes to the tie-braker. Your essay score, residence, and A&P 1 grade are used, and after that random selection. I have no idea how many people applied or got accepted, but if I find out I will post. Best of luck!

I got my rejaction letter today. I will try to apply next year, but I will need to take CIS 120 and I thought it was 1 credit class, but it is 4. I do not know if it is worth to take it or not. I hope this year will work out for you. Please keep us updated here.
