Hi! I also applied to the spring 2017 absn cycle! What campus was your first choice? I'm also applying to the ELMSN FNP track as well as my goal is to become an FNP working in a primary care setting.

Im hoping to get into the Sacramento campus, but I'm open to the Bay Area since it's where I'm from.

You are not alone.. tomorrow is the application deadline yet I find myself still staring at my short answer/essays unsure of if I'm happy with what I've written. I think not knowing what "tone" to use makes it very difficult for me.

Thanks mickeydoodle315, I'm actually your opposite. I'm living in the Bay Area so am hoping to get into the SF/San Mateo cohort but am from up north so will make it work if I get accepted into the Sacramento cohort.

Hi! I applied on Father's Day for spring 2017. I'm hoping for San Mateo location but I'll take either! All my transcripts have been verified and Gpas completed. Gosh it's only mid July and I'm dying to know already. October can't get here fast enough. Who took the teas vs the HESI? I ended up taking the HESI and got above 80 on everything and scored an overall of 91. Good luck everyone and I can't wait to meet you all in January! í ½í¹í ¼í¿¼ act as if it's already so!

I applied for the elmsn fnp too, been a month since the automated email saying they received everything and to please don't call since it will slow things down. May have another month to wait for info. If this elmsn application doesn't work out, will have to apply for the summer absn, will need to ask for recommendation letters again for a completely new nursingcas.

I'm not familiar with bay area, looking at the summer absn sites, there are 2 san mateo sites: April San Mateo clinicals are in SF Bay Area; June San Mateo clinicals are in South Bay/Peninsula. What's the difference between these 2? I googled, and it shows that SF is synonymous with Peninsula, but apparently not. Googled comments also say locals disagree on what is south bay. Anyone care to comment? Thanks.

I actually emailed back in June (submitted my app in end of May) and heard back that they got my app. Just wanted to see since I never heard from them with an official automated message. Thx! must have been same email you got. jul 5, 5 days after my ncas submisison. if they go by order, i'm probably the last one to submit, last to review, if any interviews will be in nov/dec for waiting list. i applied too late. that's why i'm asking for summer absn now.
