Regis University's Accelerated BSN Jan 2014 Applicants

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I wanted to start a topic for those applying to Regis' absn program with the January 2014 start. Since the June 15th application deadline is fast approaching, lets keep one another up to date on when we hear and who is interviewing.

I submitted my application in late March, giving myself plenty of time to decompress over the stress of it. Now, with days remaining, the anticipation of finding out anything is getting the best of me.

How do you all feel?

I got the same email. Just found it today in my junk email. It stated that they will still be making selections within a 6-8 week period from the end of the application. From my count that is the second week in August.

Just got my acceptance email today…YAY!!

Deadline for the non-refundable deposit is August 9th, about a week before i find out if CU accepted me..

I got my acceptance email today too! I can't wait to get the actual letter to have more information. Congrats friendly keno!

CONGRATS! :)

Congrats to you as well!!!

Have you taken ethics?

I am so excited. I hope the letter has more information on what to do next. I plan on taking ethics this fall online. Have you taken it yet? I understand Regis' class is 8 weeks, so there is plenty of time. I am more worried about getting all the certifications done before we start. :)

Congrats to both of you! I am on the alternate list for 2014. Fingers crossed:)

Good luck nvck1! Alternative is so much better than a 'no.' Fingers crossed for you.

I am on the alternate list as well. I just hope to find out sooner than later because I have to relocate! I am very eager to get the paper letter with more info. To those of you who were accepted...first off, congrats. Secondly, would you mind sharing your admissions stats, cum. Gpa, prerequisite gpa, healthcare exp, etc?

I'd rather not share everything on a post. I will say that I took all the advice I could from my instructors and nurses I know on what to do to gain experience before applying.

3.20 overall, close to a 4.0 for pre-reqs. worked as a CNA for about 6 years.

i applied to the CU program as well but we don't hear for another couple of weeks

I have been following the discussion, but just joined so that I can comment. I made it! It was the only place I applied and my cumulative GPA was way below average. I did manage to get all A's for the prereqs, besides that I have not been in school for 14yrs. Very excited about going to Regis, it sounds better than Metro.
