I wanted to start a topic for those applying to Regis' absn program with the January 2014 start. Since the June 15th application deadline is fast approaching, lets keep one another up to date on when we hear and who is interviewing.
I submitted my application in late March, giving myself plenty of time to decompress over the stress of it. Now, with days remaining, the anticipation of finding out anything is getting the best of me.
I haven't taken ethics yet but also got the e-mail about registering for it. I'll be taking it this fall for sure. From other boards, folks in the 2012 ABSN program have said to take it through Rio Salado as the credits transfer and it is 1/3 of the price (also an online course). Yeah, planning without notice is tough but you've just got to be ready to go I guess. Thanks for the update on the calendar. If you could post when you get it, that would be great!
I looked up Rio Salado for the ethics class and they said that they are not an authorized distance learning school for Colorado. Bummer. I wanted to take it online there due to the cost difference. Does anyone else know of any other options?
Update regarding Rio Salado... My account was not fully set up when I received the distance learning in Colorado error. Rio Salado is indeed an option for the ethics class. HCR 210.
Congratulations! I received an acceptance letter via email today but am a little concerned because I was never called up for an interview. Does anyone know if this is possible? I was thrilled with the news but don't want to get too excited yet because I think everyone must interview, right? Has anyone ever received a false letter of acceptance?

Quick question for you about books. The bookstore has a few recommended (but not required) items. Did you purchase them all? Were the recommended items helful? Is it worth it to buy vs. rent? Any additional insight would be great. Thanks!
