HBU Nursing program spring 2015

Hey guys! Just wondering if anyone else has applied to the HBU nursing program for the spring of 2015? I'm so excited and nervous! Does anyone have an idea of the usual scale of GPAs or Hesi scores that are accepted at HBU?

Congratulations! We love HBU, nursing school is hard no doubt, but all of the professors are so welcoming and supportive, it's a great experience.

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone could give me some guidance? I am trying to knock out all my religion courses, and I can take all of them online over the summer except Old Testament. Old Testament is in person over the summer, but also offered online in the fall. I work during the summer so driving up to school everyday from 2:45-4:45 would be a pain but I also feel like I should only focus on the nursing classes during my first semester. Any advice?

If you can I would definitely take Old Testament in person during the summer. I would not recommend taking it during the fall with your nursing classes. I was thinking about taking Patho this semester along with the four nursing classes, and I'm really glad I didn't. Everyone is different so you might be able to handle another class, but I know I definitely wouldn't have been able to. Also, they offer the Christianity classes in two-week mini's in between semesters.

Thank you for the advice! I really appreciate it. This is all really new to me as a transfer student. I've been trying to meet with a nursing advisor, but they said that I would get advised for the fall on May 11th at orientation. I didn't know that you don't have to take patho during the first semester. When do you plan on taking it?

Hi Cindy! I am also considering applying, I actually submitted my app today. But I couldn't find any information on the deadlines? Has the deadline for Spring passed?!

Also, is there a separate app for the nursing program? Any info or links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Future Nursing Students

Sept 1 was the deadline to apply to the school for Spring.

Sept 8 is the deadline for send in your HESI scores

And Sept 15 is the deadline to apply to the nursing program

Ugh, I just submitted my main app yesterday. I guess I'm too late to apply for spring? Do you think they'll consider me if I get everything in by the 15th?
