Asa college or kingsborough

Students School Programs

Published

Hi i wanted to see if any one knows of the nursing prigram at ASA college? I was thinking of transferring from kingsborough to ASA to see if i can get into their nursing program. I recently finished all my pre requisites at kingsborough but have yet to pass remedial math which is why i haven't been able to test for kingsboroughs nursing program. So i figured i would go to asa and take two bio classes and pass remedial math with them and transfer back to kingsborough and apply for the nursing program after. However i wanted to know is it worth the time or should i stay with kingsborough

Are you planning to transfer completely to a new school or just for those classes you listed above? Your post is not clear as you mention both. Check with your current school to ensure that they will accept remedial credits from another school. If the credits aren't accepted for transfer, then not much point in changing schools.

OP: 7K per year including books at Kingsborough. ASA 20K per year excluding books.

Kingsborough CC public school.

ASA for profit.

Your credits won't transfer from ASA to Kingsbrough.

Try to tough it out at the CC and don't go broke.

If I were the one in your current predicament, I would choose Kingsborough in a New York minute. It is a publicly funded community college with very affordable tuition. Good luck with whatever decision you make.
