I have never liked group projects and that belief has only been reinforced by this latest assignment.

It is now Tuesday, near the close of the day and so far, only one other person has even responded. T\I am the only one to have posted any content and no one has even responded to my draft. This is going to make getting a decent response together by Friday very challenging.

Did I mention that I hate group projects?

Right there with you chuckster! 2 others have posted thankfully, and 1 that is posting later tonight or tomorrow said that she would be the team leader since I am working Thursday and Friday and can't work on the post late ... and I think we will need to be working late. HATE group projects - my type A, everything needs to be done last week personality is ready to run amok!!!

In the instructions from our TA she wrote "the group must be willing to sign in each day during the week for a short time period to review work" and that participation would be monitored. Our group has been communicating daily about the project. Did your TA give instructions like those?

OK- so no no one has posted in my group (including me) but i have a post from the TA saying to NOT post until i've received the week 2 discussion board instructions... HUH?!

Go to the discussion board in module 2. On there is a letter from your TA giving your group members and another with instructions to folliow

Breath…Most folks will start posting by late Wed, early Thurs. But I agree, it is a bit unnerving.

I wish. I just hope deltaroxxy is right and the rest of my group posts something tomorrow or Thurs. I'm out of pocket all day Friday . . .

In our group, our team leader combined each person's answers to answer the questions for the final discussion. She posted the draft of the final answers and then the group comments and makes changes if necessary. That's what our group has done so far. We are reviewing the draft of the final answers now. We were all in agreement in the way we should answer each question.

stepharm, no leader!??? How stressful! I would definitely have to send a msg to the TA and instructor. It's completely unfair to allow others to latch on for a free ride. How ridiculous to have a group project in different time zones. Luckily my group is fairly cohesive. I volunteered to be team leader this week to get things rolling...it's stressful nonetheless.
