Well...I was going to take every opportunity to NOT recommend OU RN to BSN program, loud and clear after I finished in the spring. Looks like the Ohio Board of Nursing has done it for me. As for week two...I have not looked at the assignments yet...but I will be sure NOT to turn in any work early in the week and wait until Sunday after this has been hashed out by the TA's and the professors who are not available. We are the guinea pigs once again.

What do you mean by "Ohio Board of Nursing has done it for me"? Have looked for a thread re: this and not found anything. Can you enlighten me? The program is NOT threatened for lack of certification, etc. is it? I certainly don't want to be doing all this work for nothing. And am certain my employer wouldn't be happy about paying for a majority of it and there be an issue.
Lucky you...almost finished! Unfortunately, I'm not close!

As far as I know there is no issue with accreditation.

So you did every chapter?? 12 through 20??
That was what I did. It really didn't take that long. You can't do half of it, not like I have an opthalmascope or an eye chart laying around, lol.
I think she just meant that she doesn't need to spread word not to apply, since so many people will not be allowed to anymore.

Asked the TA a question about using a book on evidence based practice for the lit review. This was part of the reply: "Please read the directions given with the assignment. I replied to the email. 'Nuff said.
The instructions say it HAS to be a magazine, specifically saying NO books.
She told me we can use our textbook. ???
I'm freaking out, my laptop has a blank white screen. It won't do anything. I can't see anything.
I didn't save my 12 hours worth of work on a flashdrive. I don't know what I am going to do. I had my articles picked out and saved, my db done and was working on the assessment. I can't have lost all of that work.
I'm using a neighbors computer to check for updates.
Please keep you fingers crossed ........

Did you try a soft reboot ctrl alt delete? If so you may have to totally turn it off. Wait a bit, then restart. Word may save your document saying your computer was not properly shut down.
Good luck!

Shut it down and try to reset it by taking off the battery and just use the a/c plug. Turn the power back on and see if it will come back up. If the screen is still white, you'll want to test the screen display. If you have an external monitor you can connect it to the lap top to see if it's the screen display that is faulty or the actual laptop. It should automatically switch to the external monitor but if you just see a flash of the start up and then it doesn't come up again you might have to use the function button (fn) and one of your f keys (mine is f8) to switch to the external monitor. Hope this helps.
