Anyone know how long it is supposed to take to get our acceptance letters?

Congrats!! You'll be starting so soon!! Hopefully now CSCC will know if there are many seats left in the March 2011 class :).

ForeverL - we have until early April to send in our decision, so I don't know if they'll know how much space they have until after they find out how many people are coming, etc.

OMG. I'm just over the moon this afternoon. I was beginning to feel a bit old to be starting all over again and here I am. :)

According to CSCC today, they have not yet decided what to do with all the applicants who didn't get in for the September 2010 start date. However, they expect there to be very few seats left for the March 2011 start date for those who apply in July.

i just heard about this board from a girl i sold a book to... i too just applied jan 2010 and got my letter of acceptance for fall 2010. it's fun reading that others have had similar experiences to mine! this quarter i'm taking 15 credit hours [anatomy, eng 111, ssci 105 ] which is the most i've taken since starting back to school fall 08.

can't wait to get to know some of you and i see that some of us will be in the same nursing class!

Wanted to let people know that a couple of friends of mine who applied Jan 10, but didn't get in for fall of 10 received letters today. They were offered slots in Spring 11 traditional program. I don't know how many people were offered slots or how many will be available for summer 10 applicants, but it looks like they decided what to do about all of the extra applicants.

Officially time to call CSCC again and see what my odds are for a March 2011 start!

My girlfriend mentioned that the letter she received gave them maybe 2 weeks to send in their response. I was in the middle of volunteering at my kids' school when I talked to her, so I am not entirely certain on the deadline, but 4/30 is sticking in my mind. In any event, by 5/1 they should know how many slots they'll have open for Spring 11.
