How about Colin, Austin, Destiny, Eli, Saylor (boy), Tristan (girl), Milo and Dorian. These are siblings in same family. Dorian was born last week and I think they plan on having more. Wonder what they'll come up with next.

i met a little boy the other day that goes to school with my girls. his name is hunter farmer.
a former coworker of mine let her husband name their sons: hunter, fisher and mariner (after the baseball team). guess what he liked to do in his free time!

we've had some interesting ones too...

I personally can't stand how the hyphens, and "high commas" (apostrophes) are being added into names...how will they fill out standardized testing bubbles?

    anyway, here some are...
    Astonishing Lust
    Lotus Bleu
    Pepsi
    Fe'male (fa-mal-ee)
Jersey (makes me think of gym class)

LOL my name is Pepper, but my last name wasn't Salt. I have never liked my name, but am used to it now. My DD has a normal name and so will all other kids.

My dad's a pediatrician, so I heard a lot of names growing up.... one sticks out in particular.... Mystical Purple Hayse (real name!) The child was, not surprisingly, taken from her home due to her mother's drug abuse and has since been adopted by grandma and has a different last name... THANK GOODNESS!

I've also heard of a child named Ocean, and had a friend named Violet Brown... we all called her purple, which she really didn't like! :roll

Took care of a baby Nevaeh last night. That is Heaven spelled backwards!

Every other baby born at my hospital is Nevaeh because of the whole heaven thing. Used to thing is was a pretty name untill they ran it into the ground.

When I did my clinical rotation in OB we had a baby boy that was named Exisis.

I guess the parents said that it was a combo of Genisis and Exodus...but to me it sounded like exorcist...poor kid.

    Just thought of another one...lol

I knew a lady that named her baby Autumn Mattox.

Sounds ok right..well say it a bit faster and it sounds like automatic.

i decided, since the 2nd "strange baby names" thread was getting so long, let's start another.

    ready.....set.....go!

twins from last night - gypsy and cinnamon. (what a great start to their porn/stripper careers)

orion - (baby boy) - ok, this one did have a romantic, constellation engagement story behind it, so it's not so bad, but still a strange, out-there name.

orzio - another baby boy - poor kid

    and, drumroll please..................... :hatparty:

happy birthday to the winner of the year:

    queen messiah jesus christ

oh yes, that was the baby's full, legal name for the birth certificate. oh how wonderful.

give me a few more births to attend at work, and i'm sure to have more to add. i have definitely noticed a trend towards the unusual/unique names lately. some of them sound and look just like random letters thrown together, that i can't even recall them once i get home.

    the poor, poor kids........
