Aw, that really stinks that you are having to stay in the hospital! But I know that you are glad to do it for little Gage. Did the docs set a time limit for when they will deliver you? I'm glad you are in a high risk facility. I'm sure that puts your mind atleast somewhat at ease.

Sending good vibes and prayers your way!

Be sure to turn every so often so you dont get any bedsores from all the bedrest!

    Good luck!

Honey my heart aches for all you and baby Gage are going through but just remember, the first time you hold him in your arms, the time will be a memory of love done to insure his safe arrival. Please write here frequently, we never get tired of hearing from you, shucks we'll even listen to your daily menu if it will help give you something to do. Hugs to you my friend and I am praying for you with all my heart. Duckie

I was wondering when you would take up a semi-permanant residency in a hospital bed! I stayed for six weeks (deep trendellenberg, no bathroom priveledges). Keep your spirits up and an eye on your goal. This is only a temporary bump in the road of life and will be a fading memory one day. Best Wishes!

You poor thing! I'm still glad you are right there in case anything happens. Just try to relax, and realize this won't be forever. Your sweet little baby is in there saying, "oh thank you, thank you, Mommy!" Hang in there, girl, and keep us posted!

You guys are all awesome. It really just lifted my spirits to log on here tonight and find twenty-something replies on this thread. From what I understand, the game plan is to do an amniocentesis when I hit 34 weeks (can't even tell you my feelings about having a big needle shoved into my belly, but I digress.....) & if it looks like baby Gage's lungs are mature at that time they will go ahead with the C-section.

I'm trying to be patient because I know that it's better for the baby to remain inside mommy for as long as possible, but I really really want to go home and I'm concerned about my job too. Since I've been off work since late December, my FMLA is going to run out before I am able to return to work. Then I have to take a general leave of absence, and I may not get returned to my same pay rate when I am able to go back to work. In fact, I talked with my nurse manager yesterday, and it pretty much sounded like I will not get weekend option when I go back, and that is a huge, huge pay cut then. *Sigh* That really really stinks. But....I'm just not going to worry about that right now. Just not going to think about it.

Thanks for being too awesome for words you guys. You are all really helping me make it through all of this.

    Be blessed. . .
    Lou
