I think it is a little bit cheaper for kids cant remember off the top of my head how much. more than £100 I think. They are classed as adults I think at 15. Hope we get in for our before Dec.
Kids do not have to have CXR or blood taken.
Someone tell me if I am wrong its only what I've picked up on the way.

Hi ukrn2ca
Had medicals yesterday. All went really well, the staff were very nice. Took bloods for HIV/Syphillis (don't know results yet). Weight, height, examined ears, throat, chest, abdo, breasts, reflexes, eyes and did a chest x-ray. All went very smoothly, didn't need extra vaccinations. Had made sure we were all up to date beforehand, didn't want any added expense! Followed the chart on the website (US embassy in London) and hoped for the best. It was easy to find and in there about 2 hours max (4 of us). Worst part was paying for it (£640)!
If you use that link on the website click on vaccination requirements on the right hand side (highlighted in blue) , that will give you an up to date chart to follow. I used that and we didn't need any vaccinations at our medicals:chuckle

Glad it all went well. Hope your not expecting any positive results . Not long now are you counting down?
Thanks for the insite to the medical. Wonder why they gave my mate an internal? you didn't say you had one! I wonder if it was a different DR! she has no reason to need one no history of anything ** I will be releived not to have one so will my daughter.
When's your interview, is it next week?
When do you plan on leaving?
Sorry so many questions, OH I'm so excited for you:balloons: :smiley_aa
I have never heard of anybody having an internal, that doesnt sound right
