Much of the problem people in choirs have is not just standing in one place for extended periods of time, the problem happens primarily when the knees are extended and "locked out."Maybe search Google for hypotension and syncope in choral performances.

When I was in the military we were warned not to lock our knees when standing in formation. Even so, on occasion, someone would pass out, especially in the very hot sun in Texas.

You are invented to google the words: "soldier + fainting". and then enter to google image. You will have the answer... on my question.
We are not the ones looking for answers. Apparently you do understand how to google your questions.

Here at allnurses we require students to reveal what their research has taught them. Then we will discuss what you understand and expound on what you might not understand. Our goal here, unlike other sites, is to help you develop the research skills that you will be using every day as a nurse and help you become the best nurse that you can be.
