Can someone explain to me insulins: R, N, Humalog, Novolog?

I am not familiar with these terms, I do know that R mean regular insulin, which I believe is short acting? Don't know about the rest.

I wasn't here yesterday...are you in school? What semester are you? The membership has been good to you. I am a firm believer in asking nursing students to tell me first what their research has revealed to you...learning to research things on your own is going to be imperative to your nursing practice. If you wish to be more than what your name indicates... you need to put a little effort into something to get something significant back in return.

Okay, I seriously had to laugh out loud when I used your Let me Google that for you link - um, it pulled up Neil Patrick Harris for 4 of the top links.

To the OP, Sometimes people call NPH by brand name Humilin N or Novolin N. Try this one Let me Google that for you
