So excited, just paid for and registered for the FCCA. She said it will be here on May 31st, and my window is June 1 - 10th. Who else is testing this window? :yeah:

just wanted to say congrats and good luck! i failed LS3 (again) so can't do ANYTHING til august now...which really bites the dust! so i'll be right there behind you!

Brenan that's awesome! I just made it for our window, she said it closes tomorrow morning!

I have the three required textbooks for it... am hoping it is as straightforward as everyone says... I need a break, hoping I can get it done within a day or two! I have A&P scheduled on June 7th too... and can't reschedule... so I need to focus on that also.

Where are you applying for the CPNE? I am waiting for my background check to come back so I can apply...

@ tasha can't you get a time reduced? i've heard many people request to re-test in 30 days instead of 60 days.

Im also waiting for my background check to come back so I can apply! Im thinking Lubbuck, TX; or Mansfield OH. I've heard really good things about Mansfield, but Lubbuck Tx is much closer to me! Where are you thinking? And when are you going to do it? Im thinking late July early August! We are almost there!! Are you doing any workshops? Im thinking about doing Tina's workshop online. I can't afford to actually go to a workshop in person. Im also getting Robs DVD's. I really hope I pass the first time :)

I am applying to the NPAC and putting a ready date of August (and hoping that I can use scholarship for this since a new year starts in july!) I will probably take anywhere I can get... I have spoke with people who have tested at Albany, Queens, Syracuse, Saratoga, Utica and York and everyone has had positive things to say, so I hope I will have just as good of a CPNE experience as they did :-) I am actually in south Florida... but I have made up my mind to travel. I think being away from everything and going without my family may be the best thing for me so that I can focus on the CPNE and passing and nothing else.

I am doing Sheri's workshop online, probably will start end of June or so, and also Rob's, my friend Westpalm LPN and I are going to share them. I am stalking on Ebay for some other things too.. someone has some materials posted right now I am thinking of bidding on. I will do anything that I can to pass the first time!! Good luck in your studies.. congrats!!! :-)

@Beachnurse84: Congrats and best wishes for FCCA & CPNE.

I have a question regarding the scholarship.

Will you still qualify for scholarship if you go ahead and register now? I know that inorder to register you will have to either pay in full or go on a payment plan, therefore will EC still consider for scholarship? I know when I spoke with them about the scholarship for the exams I was told that they will not reimburse, that they would only give me scholarship based upon if I have remaining exams. I will probably be CPNE eligible before August but I plan to wait it out to register since my plan is to be in the August scholarship pool for CPNE. I wanted to know how would it work if you go on a payment plan to secure a date while waiting for the Scholarship time period to kick in? Have you discussed this with EC?

Yay congrats!!!

WestPalm, since it was her second no-go she may not be able to get the time reduced. I have a second no-go on LS3 as well, but I'm not asking to shorten the time until I get my LS2 done and do my A&P with straighterline. Then I literally only have LS3, FCCA, and CPNE.

I wish I could do the FCCA while waiting to retake LS3. That would make more sense in my opinion. Anyway.
