So excited, just paid for and registered for the FCCA. She said it will be here on May 31st, and my window is June 1 - 10th. Who else is testing this window? :yeah:

the mosby's you need for sure for the cpne, and the taylor's fundamentals set you probably have already. i am thinking of getting the dvds to go along with the taylor's, i heard they show the techinique of basic skills the way they like them performed at the cpne.

if only there was a money tree somewhere? lmao....

beachie- please keep me inform ok :) right now i am so caught on trying to pass my last 2 test can't think of anything else... let me know if you need me to share the cost of the taylor books if we can do that.

westpalm, are you testing ls3 soon? i just wanted to give you a heads up: check out the journal articles at the ec library if you have not already. i just looked into them today for burn management and they are excellent! condensed info in easy reading, interesting articles. they have journals for every section of the content guide. and good luck! i won't be on allnurses too much in the next week as i hit my bandwidth max, ugh!! i am testing may 31 if i can't get in next week. good luck!!

i will be thinking of you next monday :-) you are going to do awesome.

i already have the taylor's books, we can share if you want! they have a dvd set that go along with them for extra, haven't priced them on amazon but a couple of my friends on the fb page said they are great, so i may look into that. we will see what the rob's has on it and then once i sign up for shari's workshop hopefully there won't be too many more gaps of stuff we need to know :-)

there is a huge children's hospital at syracuse and now i am scared to death about having a peds patient because it's gonna be a sure thing. i am going to ask my boss if i can shadow on peds and/or nursery for a couple shifts... i'd even do it for free... just to get the experience. we are going to have to have study playdates w/the babies lol!

I have 2 Taylors fundamentals books, one is like a practical portion with a DVD that demonstrates procedures. The DVD isn't too great, just wanted to give you a heads up. I got mine in 2009, so they are a bit dated however.
