I finished nursing school in June and am currently waiting to take my state test to be an L.P.N. I want to go on to be an R.N. I am wondering if anyone has done a L.P.N. to R.N program online? I have to work full time and the only way I can continue my education is online. Every search I do comes back with The College Network. That can't be the only one out there. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance.I can't wait to be a nurse!:nurse:

I've been a LPN for 13 years and have a BS in Health Management including all Nursing prerequisites. In searching for online LPN to RN school. Live in Washington DC. Thinking of Excelsior College or any accredited online school. Please advise or any helpful ideas if available, Please will appreciate it. Or any feed back on Excelsior College?

@Thujone, what state do you live? If I may ask. I live in Washington DC and it's difficult to get online LPN to RN school. Please advice or recommend a school if you know of any. Thanks for sharing.

Hi there. I did all of the Excelsior course and stopped short of the exam since I moved from NC back to CA. They no longer accept Excelsior grads in CA.I was going to do a semi online program called Davidson CC but you would have to live in NC for clinical. Not sure if DC accepts Indiana State U or not. Keep looking.

If you have a BS already, why not an accelerated BSN program? There are a few in the area, I would look at GMU in Fairfax or Marymount in Arlington. You'd be done faster than you would with Excelsior, you'd end up with an RN license that is good in every state, and you'd have a BSN. Win win win.
