im currently waiting on my license I took my pn Nclex and passed idfpr said they received my money 9/30 for license and now they're saying they see that I was arrested in 2004 but I went and got the records which stated no records found for arrest now I'm wondering how long it will be until my number will be posted

I'm sorry, this is REALLY hard to follow: a single sentence that isn't making a lot of sense to me.

It looks like you passed the NCLEX.....but the State BoN might not issue you a license because of an old arrest..? WERE you arrested and did not disclose this on your application? Any false information on a licensing application typically results in the application being denied. Passing the NCLEX is only a piece of becoming licensed; meeting the rest of the criteria matters.

What am I not understanding?

Boards of nursing have access to all records in the name of public safety. The background check is generally at the state & FBI level and not always the same as one you can order on your own.

Were you asked if ever arrested? (Some states ask if arrested others only ask if convicted ) if so, did you say no? If you said "no" based upon a background check you obtained yourself there is your problem. The BoN can access almost everything. You can be denied or disciplined for lying on your application...in other words you may be waiting a long time

I don't have a background because in 2004 I was all of 9 and when I went to the juvenile center they printed a paper saying no records I was just wondering how long it will be until I receive a license number

No I didn't lie because in 2004 when they stated I went to jail i wasn't even old enough to do anything on my own so I got a letter saying no records so I'm just wondering how long will it be before I get an license number
