There's just one more thing....

Nurses Job Hunt

Specializes in ICU, PACU, OR.

Have you ever applied for a job that seems perfect for you on paper, you get the phone interview and guess what....there's just one more thing that was unknown in the job description or qualifications required, not listed on the profile, that you need to be considered for the job. How much do you have to do or know to land a job that may provide an excellent use of your skill set?

When I first looked for work, most job descriptions appeared to be the same cookie cutter bs which had me attend several interviews. I find that if I am qualified for the interview and don't like the job, I just attend the orientations to syphon whatever money I can from them then be like "not doing this" and never return. Getting a PRN position, it isn't hurting anyone. It is the employer's fault for not posting a full job description and they will end up eating their mistake.

NOADLS, that sounds like a strategy that will get around via the nursing grapevine. You may lose out on your dream job if it does.

NOADLS, aren't you the same nurse who stated in a previous post that you would never change a patient's brief? It would be very wise to keep your identity hidden, forever.
