I have a question to ask

Nurses Job Hunt

Hello...

I have a question to ask, I went to an interview on 3/21/2014 @1330 as a patient care position. Later on that day, i got a phone call from a human resource recruiter, leaving a message "saying she wanted to update on my interview" although I missed this phone call. I did returned the call back, and left a message. . I know I gotta wait until this upcoming Monday....

I wanted to know what she meant by updating? Does this mean I been hired?

Thank you for any replied comment(s) in advance.

I wouldn't interpret it as a "you've been hired" call; the message said she wanted to update you (or did you mean 'get an update'? Your post wasn't easy to read).

If she meant she wanted to update you, she might have meant telling you that it was with a hiring committee, you should expect a decision by xx date. If she wanted an update FROM you, it's possible she wanted more information than you provided: another name of a supervisor, a current phone number, something like that.

Guess you'll find out soon enough....good luck!

Fingers crossed for you. It is probably a good sign.

I understood your question perfectly.

It is impossible to know for certain what the manager meant by "calling to update you". Hopefully you will hear from her tomorrow with good news for you. You should absolutely call her back if you do not hear from her.

Good luck to you!

GOT IT..... So excited :D

again thanks for all the good luck wishes......
